Trespassing leaves girl students panicked

CHARSADDA: Panic spread through the female students on Thursday as unidentified persons entered into a state-run school for girls in Shabqadar tehsil in the district. The students of the Government Primary School for Girls in Mardana area in Shabqadar tehsil panicked and started screaming after they saw three unidentified persons entering the school building. The suspected persons managed to escape before the law-enforcers arrived at the scene. A large number of local people and parents of students rushed to the school after the news about the incident spread in the area. Charsadda Deputy Commissioner Zafar Abbasi and District Police Officer (DPO) Shafiullah along with heavy contingents of police and personnel of the Anti-Terrorism Squad reached the area. A search operation was launched to nab the suspected persons. Head of the school, Salma Bibi told reporters that three unidentified persons entered into the school and tried to break the padlock of the main entrance to the building. She said the students spotted the suspected persons and raised the alarm. She said that the suspected persons escaped after the students started crying.However, talking to the reporters DPO Shafiullah dispelled the impression that the suspects were militants.
