KARACHI: Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA) of Pakistan is organising a two-day economic conference in collaboration with Jang and The News on 30 October, 2015 (Friday) at a local hotel in Murree, a press statement said on Tuesday.
The conference, titled “Responsible Leadership for Sustainable Economy” will be inaugurated on 30 October and technical sessions be held on 31 October.
The statement said the conference is aimed at highlighting significance of responsible leaders to ensure profitability. It said ICMA Pakistan has been organising the event under the title of “Management Accountants International Conference” every three years since 1966. Dr Waqar Masood Khan, Federal Secretary Finance, Tariq Bajwa, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue, Zafar Hijazi, Chairman Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Ashraf Mahmood Wathra, Governor of State Bank of Pakistan and Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant for Revenue to the Prime Minister are expected to attend the event, said the statement.
