Responsible politics

Hectic electioneering and huge resources have failed to break the status quo in the NA-122 constituency. The PML-N’s Ayaz Sadiq is back in the National Assembly. And it is the people who suffered the ordeal of a long, heated election campaign. The irresponsible attitude of our leaders is adding fuel to the fire. This attitude is costing us money that can be spent on public welfare. Imran Khan needs to reflect on this. What he was saying all along has been proved wrong by the NA-122 by-elections. Unfortunately, he is still crying foul. It seems the PTI has a long way to travel before it graduates into a responsible party.
