KARACHI: Pakistani junior tennis players are to compete in five-nation IC Junior Challenge League in Singapore from October 28.
The other teams taking part in this biannual junior team competition are New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Israel.
“Pakistan IC tennis team will leave for Singapore on Monday from Karachi,” said Member IC Pakistan Khalid Rehmani, who is accompanying the team as their manager. “The team comprises Raza Sawani, Nauman Aftab and Hania Naveed,” he said.
The winning team will take part in the finals of IC International League at Monte Carlo in September 2016.
Khalid said that two years back Pakistan finished third at the same championship in Japan, where Australia were the winners and Japan the runners up.
