Canada votes liberal

Canada’s Liberal Party swept into power, ousting the Conservative government after nine years in a dramatic upset in the country’s parliamentary elections. Economic recession, job cuts and rising inflation had taken a toll on the Conservatives. Now Justin Trudeau is all set to form a government.
Canada is a country known for providing ample job opportunities to people from diverse backgrounds from across the world. Since there is a large presence of the Pakistani community in Canada, the policies of the last government had created a lot of difficulties for many families. Policies like visa curbs, the issue with veiled women etc directly affected many Muslim migrants. One hopes that under the Liberal Party all those values for which Canada is known for will return.
