NAWABSHAH: A close associate of former president Asif Ali Zardari and former special assistant to the Sindh chief minister, Sardar Ismail Khan Dahri, was again arrested and shifted to the Central Jail in Hyderabad on the directives of the home secretary of Sindh.
A heavy contingent of police led by DSP Aijaz Tareen raided the house of Ismail Dahri at Daulatpur, arrested and shifted him to the Central Jail in Hyderabad. DSP Aijaz Tareen said that Sardar Ismail Dahri had been in captivity for six months under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) and was released just four days back when he was arrested again. Police said that Ismail Dahri was arrested after the killing of his nephew and the blockade of the National Highway when a murder FIR was lodged by his opponent, PPP MPA Sardar Bahadur Khan Dahri.
