KASUR: Five people, including a PTI worker, were killed in separate incidents here on Sunday.
In the first incident, Ahmed Ali and Ijaz Ahmed of Pakpattan were on their way to Lahore by a motorcycle when a speeding van hit them near Cinema Mor, Kot Radha Kishan. As a result, both bikers died on the spot. In another incident, Javed of Bhatti Chowk, a PTI worker, was on his way when a car crushed him to death. Abid Ali Shah, a retired cop, was on his way when a motorcycle coming from opposite direction hit him on Multan Road, which caused his instant death. A police constable Ghulam Haider was injured when his bike collided with a donkey-cart near Hindal Chowk. An unidentified dead body of a man was found along the bank of BRB Canal near Targa village.
BOY SEXUALLY ASSAULTED: A 12-yaer-old boy was sexually assaulted at Rao Khanwala village on Sunday.
The son of Sakina Bibi was on his way home when accused Arif alias Billi intercepted him and took him to his outhouse where he allegedly sexually assaulted him. Later, Raja Jang police arrested the accused after registering a case against him.
WOMAN GANG-RAPED: A woman was gang-raped at Bhair Sodian village on Sunday.
The woman was on her way when accused Shahzad along with his accomplices allegedly abducted her and took her to a deserted place when they allegedly gang-raped her. Allahabad police have registered a case.
