KHAR: Pakistani militants operating from Afghanistan’s eastern Kunar province attacked the posts of the security forces in Mamond tehsil in Bajaur Agency, tribal sources said on Saturday.
The sources said that the militants armed with sophisticated weapons staged the attack that didn’t cause any casualty.
The security forces,
the sources said, returned
the fire and repulsed the attack.
The militants loyal to the fugitive leader of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Maulana Fazlullah are operating from eastern Afghanistan, where they have built sanctuaries.
Islamabad has time and again asked Kabul to take action against the militants staging attacks inside Pakistan.
Many tribespersons, including women and children,
were killed and injured
