Fleecing IDPs

Recently, IDPs living in Bannu received an SMS from the FDMA (Fata Disaster Management Authority) informing them that they would receive Rs36,000 as relief amount. All IDPs have been issued SIMs of a particular cellular company so that they can get the grant easily using its cash delivery service.
The agents of the firm had to give people Rs35,536 after deducting tax. But to our utter amazement they deducted Rs2,500 without giving any legitimate reason. I have registered my complaint with the cellular company but instead of acting on my complaint, the company’s franchise office has started charging Rs300 extra without any reason. The FDMA should take notice of this.
