JUP leader dies

Veteran leader of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan (JUP) Qari Manzoor Ahmad Jamaati passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday. He was 65 and left behind a widow, five sons and three daughters.
His funeral prayers were offered at Mehmood Booti graveyard and attended by a large number of religious leaders and workers including JUP Supreme Council President Shah Awais Noorani, Jamiat Ulema Pakistan Punjab President Qari Zawwar Bahadur, Dr javed Akhtar, Mufti Tasadduq Hussain, Qari Khalil Mehrvi, Rana Rehmat Ali, Qari Ghulam Rasool Naqshbandi and others.
