'Azadari' Code announced

Rawalpindi: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi Tuesday urged 'Zakireen' and 'Ulema' to give priority to national integrity in their addresses and avoid speeches that are provocative and are based on hatred.
He stated this while announcing Code of Azadari for Muharramul Haram here at the TNFJ headquarters.
The TNFJ chief while announcing the 14-point Code of Azadari demanded that in addition to general vehicles the public vehicles should also be checked, participants of procession by facilitated, checking of women be carried out through ladies' police. CCTV cameras and walk-through gates be installed at the internal and external paths to Majalis and processions, hurdles be installed with some distance for the protection of Majalis and Azadari processions and special watch on high-rise buildings be made, video film be made of all Majalis and processions; patrolling by police mobile squads, Elite Force may be ensured for the protection of Majalis and Matmi processions. Cooperation may be sought from Ibrahim Scouts and Mukhtar Force along with police and administration in security matters; caretakers and administration of Imambargahs may arrange protective measures themselves also. Azadaran-e-Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) are under the obligation to give priority to Azadari over all other matters; (5) Centre and provinces may not impose any such order that may encroach upon the rights of the Azadaran. Azadari processions all over the country will be taken out in the light of May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi Agreement and no interference whatsoever will be borne in this connection; the powers that be may order the administrations throughout the country to avoid creating fear and harassment amongst the organisers of Majalis so that Azadari rites and performed amicably; No one may be allowed to take law into his own hands in any case; the Central Control

Room may be contacted in case of any issue; tolerance by given priority and all types of biases may be condemned. People may remain fully alert themselves and keep an eye on the situation around and immediately inform the administration and police if they notice any suspicious thing or person so as to avoid subversive activities. He urged Ulema and Zakireen to give priority to national integrity in their addresses and avoid speeches that are provocative and are based on hatred. Sacrifices of Shuhada-e-Karbala may be preached in a positive manner.
He directed the organisers of Majalis to follow the Code of Azadari themselves and also make it binding on others and appealed to the government to direct its Muharram Control Rooms to coordinate with the Central Control Room of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya so as to thwart every conspiracy and mischief.
