ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) deferred on Sunday the election process in different union councils (UCs) of Rawalpindi district in pursuance of the order of Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench.
The ECP postponed the local government (LG) elections in UCs Dhar Jawa Tret Murree city Ghora Gali and Charhan of Tehsil Murree. In Tehsil Kotli Sattian the LG polls were postponed in UCs Maloot Sattian Bhattian Karor Letrar and Chajjana said an ECP press release.
