Karachi Haidery Begum, mother of Shehar Bano, Editor Supplements and president of The News Employees Union, passed away on Sunday night after a protracted illness. She was 75 and is survived by three daughters. Her funeral prayers will be held at Masjid-e-Noor in North Karachi after Asr prayers on Monday
