KOHAT: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak arrived here on official visit on Friday and announced the opening of a girls’ degree college and three branches of Rescue 1122 service for the district.
The CM, accompanied by KP Law Minister Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi, visited Shakar Darra area where he addressed a public gathering and announced on the occasion to build a 35 kilometre road, Shakar Darra bridge, one girls’ degree college, two high schools and two middle schools in the area.
The CM also announced to build three branches of Rescue 1122 each in Lachi, Kohat city and Shakar Darra.
Later, the CM administered polio drops to a child at Shakar Darra as part of special polio vaccination campaign.
