The City School (Northern Region) held its College Night 2015 at Capital Campus here, says a press release.
The event was graced by the presence of Director for Pakistan Cambridge International Examinations Umza Yusuf, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, MNA and Chairman Standing Committee along with Radolfo Martin Saravia, Argentinean ambassador and the dean of Diplomatic Corps, the event aimed at bridging the gap between students' academic aspirations and their pursuit of higher education.
More than 20 international and local universities and students from across the region attended the event, eager to avail the opportunities presented to them. Panelists included Professor Dr. Riaz Ahmed (Director Research at NUST), Rehman Azhar (anchorperson and special correspondent), Associate Professor Dr Ali Tayyab (Ophthalmologist, Shifa International Hospital), and Jibran Jamshed (Technology Strategist and Education Lead for Microsoft Pakistan) and the President of National Youth Assembly Hanan Ali Abbasi.
Apart from receiving career guidance from representatives from national and international institutions, the students also showcased their talents by participating in photography and filmmaking contests, musical extravaganza, and debating sessions. Renowned fashion designers Beenish from Rani Emaan, Noor Hamid, an upcoming designer and Nosheen Sultan, talented jewelry designer, were guests at the Fashion Parade and commended the students on their skill and enthusiasm, while complementing the school for their initiative.
