Third seed Farhan overpowered Edgar Zayas of Mexico 5-11, 13-11, 13-11, 11-7 in 60 minutes in the first round.
He will face fifth seed Eric Galvez of Mexico in the quarter-final.
However, Amaad Fareed lost to fifth seed Shahier Razik of Canada 7-11, 14-12, 5-11, 6-11 in 58 minutes.
Wildcard entrant Nosherwan Khan was beaten by eighth seed Arturo Salazar of Mexico 11-9, 4-11, 5-11, 9-11 in 45 minutes in the first round.
