LAHORE: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited Musakhel, the most backward district of Balochistan on Tuesday, the third day of Eid.
Tribal leaders and other notables of the area called on the chief minister. Usman Buzdar exchanged Eid greetings with the tribal leaders and local people. He announced establishing Rescue 1122, setting up of Bank of Punjab branch, installation of ATM on the behalf of Punjab government. He also announced setting up of NADRA office in Musakhel. He said that more steps would be taken in this regard after consulting with the federal government. He said that buses would also be provided for the colleges in Musakhel. Usman Buzdar said that vehicles would be provided for the Rescue 1122 station. Setting up of Rescue 1122 station will provide relief to the residents of Musakhel, tribal area of Punjab and adjoining areas of KP. He said that this area was neglected for the decades whereas the PTI government considered the development of backward areas as its mission. He said that he visited Balochistan with the message of good will and love for the Baloch people. He said that amount had been deposited for the supply of electricity in Darg, the tehsil of Musakhel. The areas of Jaffar, Qaiserani and Buzdar tribes would be electrified.
