138 PIA passengers test negative for coronavirus

TOBA TEK SINGH: All 138 passengers, who returned from Dubai by a PIA special flight at Faisalabad airport on Saturday, tested negative for coronavirus on Tuesday.

Earlier, the passengers were quarantined at Toba Tek Singh and after the reports of their tests they were allowed to go to their homes.

Meanwhile, District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Shoaib Qureshi on eid day visited DHQ hospital's isolation ward and inquired after the health of six cops who tested positive for Covid-19.

MAN KILLS BROTHER: A man allegedly killed his brother, who was a lecturer at a private college of Lahore, on Eid night.

The mother of the deceased told Kamalia city police, that her sons Ahmed and accused Ali exchanged harsh words at home at Noor Colony of Kamalia and Ali attacked Ahmed when he was sleeping, leaving him injured critically. He was rushed to Kamalia tehsil headquarters hospital where he died.

YOUTH DIES: A youth died in a roof collapse at Pirmahal on Tuesday.

According to Arrouti police, Allah Ditta sustained critical injuries when the roof of his room collapsed on him in Pindi Ghazi locality. He was shifted to a local rural health centre from where the doctors referred him to Multan Nishtar hospital but he died on the way to the hospital.
