Man hit to death by train in Kot Lakhpat
LAHOREA 40-year-old man was killed by a train in Kot Lakhpat area on Tuesday. The victim yet to be identified was crossing rail tracks while attending his cellphone when he came under the wheels of Lahore-bound train from Karachi, resulting into his instant death. Body was removed to morgue.

A 40-year-old man was killed by a train in Kot Lakhpat area on Tuesday.
The victim yet to be identified was crossing rail tracks while attending his cellphone when he came under the wheels of Lahore-bound train from Karachi, resulting into his instant death. Body was removed to morgue.
ROBBERS: Islampura police arrested three robbers and recovered booty and weapons from their possession. The arrested robbers were identified as Imran, Amjad and Saqib. Police recovered five bikes, two rickshaws and weapons from their possession.
KILLED ON ROAD: A bike rider lost his life in a road accident near Lal Pul. The bike rider yet to be identified lost control over his vehicle and went straight into footpath. He received serious injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced brought dead. Meanwhile, a woman identified as Ishrat expired in a local hospital two days after she received injuries in a road accident in Lower Mall area.
SUICIDE: A mother of two children committed suicide by taking poisonous pills in Hunjerwal area. It was reported that the woman, Iram, had an exchange of hot words with her husband Afzal over daily household expenses and later took poisonous pills. As a result, her condition went critical. She was taken to a local hospital where she died.
