Tax extension

Though the date to file income tax returns has been extended up to October 31, applications of new filers are still pending with the FBR for the last two months.
The inordinate delay in the processing of these applications is adversely affecting people who want to pay vehicles registration fee (token tax) which are held up for want of permission by the FBR. The authorities concerned are requested to extend the date for deposit of token tax correspondingly.
