Rawalpindi: Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi with the collaboration of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Islamabad has organized a lecture on ‘Say no to corruption’ here on Friday at the university campus. This lecture was held in the University’s Old library’s extension. The theme of the lecture was the role of future mother/wives and children in ending corruption. Director General NAB Miss Aliya Rashid was the chief guest and resource person of the ceremony.
The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Miss Fareena Iqbal (Director QEC, FJWU) introduced the honorable guest.
While addressing the large number of students, faculty members and administrative staff, Ms Aliya Rashid urged women/wives to join the anti-corruption campaign and emphasized on the importance of women/wives role in the fight against corruption.
She further said that women role can be very vital in eradication of corruption within our society and it is the duty of wives, daughters and sisters to make their husbands, brothers and fathers proud of what they are and to appreciate their efforts for the family.
