Nine women, boy beaten by rivals in Okara
OKARA: Nine women and a boy were beaten by their rivals in four incidents here.
In the first incident, Manzoor, Kashif Ali and Ahmad Ali entered the house of their rival Saeed s/o Nawab at Chak 33/2R and allegedly beat his son Waheed Ahmad, wife and daughters. Sadr police have registered a case.
In the second incident, Ali Hassan, Naveed Haidar, Ali, Irfan and their four accomplices entered the house of their rival Shaukat at Ghulamka village near Gogera and allegedly beat his sister Abida Bibi and sister-in-law Safia Bibi. A case has been registered.
In the third incident, M Hussain and Adil entered the house of Zafar Iqbal at Mangan village and allegedly beat his wife. Ravi police have registered a case.
In the fourth incident, Ali, Zahid, Zohaib, Irshad, Faryad and Mubashar entered the house of Saadi Ahmad at Chak 53/3R and allegedly beat his wife. The assailants escaped when the neighbours reached there. Cantonment police have registered a case.
FOUR ARRESTED: Police have arrested four drug pushers and recovered narcotics and liquor from them. The police arrested accused Zahid Jamil with 2.5kg charas at Chak 39/D, accused Amin and his wife Nadia Bibi for running a brewery at Chak Jawaya Baloch and accused Sufian of Sabri Colony with 15 liter liquor.
