HAFIZABAD: Vanike Tarar police on Tuesday arrested a man on the charge of sexual assaults on several minor boys.
The police registered three separate cases against accused Muhammad Imran alias Chairman, son of Irshad Hunjra, under sections 367-A/377 on the report of Muhammad Anwar of Mathela Gondal, Abid Hussain and Abid Ali of Channi Hunjrawan village. According to the FIRs, accused Muhammad Imran, who runs a video game shop in the village, not only sexually assault on minor boys but also made videos and pictures of the victims. After registration of the FIRs, the police raided the shop of the accused and recovered objectionable videos, pictures, a laptop and cell phones. Soon after the arrest of the accused, parents of scores of other minor victims, who are below 13 years, also lodged complaints with the police to register the FIRs against him. Meanwhile, the DBA members have announced to observe a strike against the incidents here on Wednesday (today).
