SWABI: Three brothers were shot dead allegedly by own cousins after they exchanged harsh words with them at the Jalbai village in the limits of Tordher Police Station on Tuesday.
Police said that the three brothers identified as Abdur Rehman, Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Irfan and their cousins Gohar Zaman, Fakhar Zaman, Khair Zaman had exchanged harsh words over some issue a few days ago. They said the latter attacked the former with automatic weapons when they were on way to their maize fields.
As a result, Abdur Rehman, Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Irfan were killed on the spot. Father of the slain persons nominated Gohar Zaman, Fakhar Zaman, Khair Zaman and their friend Nasrullah Khan in the first information report. The police arrested the four accused and started investigations.
