Two prisoners, Pir Muhammad Shah and Noman, admitted at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) died on Tuesday.
The prisoners were being treated for cancer.
Shah was arrested in 2013 in a rape case, whereas Noman was arrested by the Landhi police on charges of drug paddling.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the families, after completion of medico-legal formalities, in the presence of the Magistrate Malir.
