CHITRAL: Two more suspected patients tested positive for the coronavirus in Upper and Lower Chitral districts on Thursday.
Chitral Assistant Commissioner Abdul Wali Khan said that 33-year- old Sanaullah Balich Paiyeen reported positive for coronavirus. He said the patient was shifted to the isolation ward of the District Headquarters Hospital soon after his result for the coronavirus test was declared positive in Peshawar. Earlier, he said that the patient was quarantined upon reaching the district from Peshawar a few days ago.
Similarly, the AC said 60-year old Ghulam Rasool hailing from Shahgram in Tokho area in Upper Chitral also reported positive for the Covid-19 test. He was taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. The patient, the official added, was earlier quarantined at the quarantine centre in Booni upon his arrival from one of the down districts. He said that there were a total seven coronavirus patients, two from Upper Chitral and five from Lower Chitral.
