LAHORE: Met officials said that a shallow westerly wave is affecting western parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in northeast Balochistan, upper Sindh, south Punjab, Kashmir and adjoining areas.
Wednesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Sh Benazirabd where mercury reached at 44°C while in Lahore, it was 34°C and minimum was 18.4°C.
