JHANG: The coronavirus tests of two victim families, living in Jhang Bazaar and Satellite Town, have been completed and two more children shifted to the quarantine centre here on Sunday.
According to the district administration, total 12 corona positive patients were being treated in the quarantine centre of the district and all required facilities were being provided to them.
Some members of the victim families had visited Karachi in connection with admission of a kidney patient in the hospital who later died and buried there as a coronavirus victim.
DPO FOR CLOSE COORDINATION WITH MOSQUES ADMIN: DPO Ghias Gul Khan has asked the police officers to keep close coordination with the administration of mosques, imambargahs and other worship places of the district ahead of the Ramazan.
He said this while talking to SDPOs and SHOs during an introductory meeting with them here on Sunday. The code of conduct enforced by the government regarding prayers and other religious activities during lockdown should be implemented by dealing the public politely, he said. The DPO apprised that under the public welfare vision of IGP Shoaib Dastgir, ration bags supply would be continued to the deserving families facing hardships during coronavirus lockdown situation.
He said that cops should perform their duties with hard work and diligence to ensure social distancing among the citizens so that spread of coronavirus could be prevented.
Later, the DPO visited the quarantine centre functioning in the hostel building of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences to inspect the security and other arrangements. The DPO also visited the DC Office and discussed various matters with DC Tahir Wattoo.
