10 test corona positive in Kasur

KASUR: Ten people tested corona positive at Rehmanpura on Sunday. Reportedly, total 12 persons had become victims of corona within three weeks. The administration has cordoned off the area. AC Chunian Adnan Badar also confirmed the new victims and said that they were being shifted to the quarantine centre of THQ Hospital Chunian. He said that the locality had been sealed and arrangements were being made to ensure food supply to the residents.

The police had also been deployed in the area to control the movement of the people or their possible migration, he told. As many as 349 samples had been sent and out of them 201 had been received with 10 positive patients, he added.

The rests of the others would be received soon. The THQ Hospital Chunian medical superintendent had issued the list of the affected persons.

The affected persons of Rahmanpura locality included Hanif, Tufail, Bashir, Muhammad Iqbal, Jamat Ali, Asif, Barkat, Aziz and Javed. According to the health authorities of Tehsil Chunian, the entire area had been sealed.
