Third corona case reported in Toba

TOBA TEK SINGH: The test report of third coronavirus suspect has been received positive here.

The report was received from the Islamabad National Institute of Health Sciences on Tuesday. Earlier, coronavirus was declared positive in two suspects. One of them had died three days ago while the other was under treatment at the DHQ Hospital.

The third corona patient Qari Imran Bhatti, Sajjada Nasheen of the shrine of Astana Yousafia of Kamalia, was shifted to THQ Hospital Kamalia on April 5.

His wife and four children had been quarantined in their home. Kamalia AC Ms Nosheen Israr told that the condition of Imran Bhatti was out of danger and his treatment would continue in the isolation ward of the THQ Hospital Kamalia.

Meanwhile, a suspected coronavirus patient, who had died at the DHQ Hospital on Monday, was buried at his village amid strict security measures adopted by the police in and around the graveyard on Tuesday.

Deputy District Officer Health Dr Kashif Bajwa told that Ghulam Nabi of Pirmahal was admitted to the DHQ Hospital two days ago after he was facing problems in breathing. He said that the tests of his throat and nasal swabs were sent to the Punjab Health Department’s laboratory but his report was still awaited.
