FC man martyred in attack
MIRANSHAH: A Frontier Corps (FC) soldier was martyred and another sustained injuries in a firing incident in the North Waziristan tribal district on Monday, official sources said.
They said the FC men, who were affiliated with bomb disposal unit, were heading to their camp office in Speenwam when unidentified gunmen fired at their vehicle. As a result, Frontier Corps soldier Naik Arshad was martyred while Sepoy Masood sustained injuries. The martyred and injured soldiers were shifted to a hospital.
