Dacoit held; snatched cash and weapon recovered
Islamabad: The Noon police station has arrested a dacoit who looted a bakery in area of `Jhugi Syedan’, injured its owner and recovered looted cash, weapon and motorbike from him, a police spokesman said on Monday.
According to details, a bakery was looted in area of `Jhugi Syedan’ following which SP (Industrial Area) Zubair Ahmed Sheikh constituted a team to ensure arrest of those involved in it. This team headed by DSP Sabzi Mandi Ghulam Muhammad Baqir including SHO Noon police stationSub- Inspector Muhammad Razzaq, Sub-Inspector Zahid Hussain Shah and others worked hard and succeeded to arrest the person committing dacoity at gun point. The nabbed dacoit has been identified as Ahmed resident of Sargodha. He also injured the owner of the bakery Mehmood Ghaznavi through firing during this dacoity attempt.
