MPA wants social distancing ensured in Chitral
CHITRAL: Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Maulana Hidayatur Rahman on Sunday asked the district administration of Chitral to ensure social distancing to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 in the district.
Speaking at a press conference here, he said that some elements were violating the Section 144 which was enforced to ensure lockdown and the social distancing in the Chitral district. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl leaders Maulana Abdul Rahman, Maulana Abdul Sami and others were also present on the occasion.
The MPA said that the people should cooperate with the government and the district administration to implement the lockdown so that the spread of the coronavirus could be checked.
He said that it would be difficult to bring the situation under control if the people did not follow the precautionary measures. He said that his party would continue to extend cooperation to the government to curb the pandemic.
