LAHORE : The All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) distributed ration among Christian community members on the eve of Easter on Saturday in the City.
According to Dr Paul Bhatti, chairman of APMA, the ration was distributed at Youhanabad, Behar Colony, Model Colony Cantt, Alfaisal Town, Kot Abdul Malik and other areas where the Christian community members live.
He congratulated the Christian community on the eve of Easter and said that Jesus Christ gave the lesson of sacrifice. “We should serve humanity without any discrimination.
We should come forward to help the needy when whole world is suffering from the pandemic of coronavirus.
APMA stands with human beings in this time of trial.”
Najmi Saleem, vice-chairperson of APMA, said special prayers were also offered for the elimination of coronavirus across the globe.
He said that no one would be left alone in this difficult time. “We are the followers of Jesus Christ who taught us to help people,” he stated.
