RAWALPINDI: A comprehensive security plan has been drawn for a peaceful environment during Eid prayers in the city. According to the local administration, measures have been taken to avoid any untoward incident during the Eid prayers, and 2,000 policemen would perform duties in and around the Imambarghas, mosques and open places for providing security to the people. Elite and Quick Response Force, volunteers and lady police would also be on high alert to ensure peaceful environment in their respective duty areas. Special arrangements with detector devices would be made on the entry and exit points to avoid any mishaps.
