JHANG: The district administration Wednesday quarantined the whole village Kariwala after the shifting of a coronavirus patient to the quarantine centre on Wednesday. Aqeel Abbas, 19, of Kariwala, was working at fuel station at Islamabad and he was attacked by coronavirus and he visited the village. On receiving his coronavirus report positive, the district administration has isolated him in the quarantine centre and ordered complete lockdown of the village.
EX-SENATOR DONATES EQUIPMENT: Former Senator Syeda Sughra Hussain Imam Wednesday visited the quarantine centre and handed over required equipment to the district administration for the protection of duty staff. Former district public safety commission chairman Syed Shabar Raza and Jhang Chamber of Commerce senior member Sheikh Mudassar Javed and other philanthropists of the city also accompanied her during the public service activity.
