The brutal terrorist attack on the PAF base camp in Peshawar proved that the war against terrorism is far from over. Just because we achieved some success through the ongoing military operations does not mean that we have completely destroyed our enemy.
There is no time to be complacent. We need to be more vigilant. There is no doubt that there is a lot to be done in this regard. We cannot win the war on terror based only on a uni-directional strategy – military operations. It is a complicated war and an unconventional one too. So we need to adopt unconventional ways to fight it.
