Seven more test positive for coronavirus in Sukkur

SUKKUR: Seven more people including four members of Tableeghi Jamaat in Tando Muhammad Khan tested positive of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The focal person on COVID-19 for Tando Muhammad Khan, Qasim Naveed, confirmed on Tuesday that as many as seven new cases of coronavirus positive were confirmed after test reports from LUMS Hospital, Hyderabad. He said the number of affected people in Tando Muhammad Khan had surged up to 17, including 10 members of the Tableeghi Jamaat and seven local Individuals. The spokesman said four quarantine centres were se tup in Tando Muhammad Khan, and 116 members of Tableeghi Jamaat were interned at the one established at O-level school. The Divisional Commissioner, Sukkur, Shafiq Ahmed Mahesar, said 122 coronavirus positive cases were kept at quarantine centre of Labour Colony, Sukkur, but had recovered and returned to their homes.
