KARACHI: Zong announced the launch of Pakistan’s first internet SIM, a press release from the company said on Tuesday.
The Internet SIM has been designed to cater to the rising needs of potential internet subscribers who carry out substantial data usage on Smart Phones, iPads, tablets and open-market Internet SIM-compatible Devices (WiFis and Wingles), said.
The internet SIM will be 3G- and 4G-enabled, so that customers can enjoy the fastest internet speeds anywhere at highly affordable rates.
4G cities are Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Haripur, Daska, Abbottabad, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Sargodha, Thatta, Kotri, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Attock, Jhelum and Taxila, according to the press release.
Internet SIMs are voice-disabled and customers will be able to enjoy extremely affordable Zong mobile broadband packages on it, the press release explained.
