West should impose sanctions on India for fascist policies: Raza Rabbani
ISLAMABAD: Former chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani on Saturday condemned Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr Swamy for his anti-Muslim remarks and said that the recent statement of Dr Swamy was a reflection of the hate and fascist ideology of the Indian state and is condemned in the strongest words.
“The racist and fascist policies being pursued by the Indian state against the Muslims call for economic sanctions imposed by western capitals,” he said while commenting on Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy’s remarks on Muslims.
Rabbani said India is guilty of state sponsored hate crimes against Muslims. “Whereas, it is guilty of genocide and use of rape as a weapon to further its political agenda in Kashmir,” he said. He said it reflects of the sick mindset of the Indian government that it should use the cover of the pandemic to introduce a law that will change the demography of Kashmir.
