Two COVID-19 patients recover in Nowshera
NOWSHERA: District administration and management of Qazi Medical Complex said on Saturday that two Corona patients have recovered and discharged from the health facility.
Speaking at a press conference, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali Khan and Qazi Medical Complex director Muhammad Arif said that 59 suspected corona cases were reported in the Nowshera district.
They said 21 have tested negative while nine have tested positive for the virus.
The deputy commissioner said that Badrashi, Sham Colony, Shedu, Akbarpura, and Rahman Colony have been locked down and samples have also been collected from these areas.
He said that once the results of the samples arrive, they would decide whether to continue the lockdown of the mentioned areas or extend it further.
