PESHAWAR: The students of various educational institutions performed an interactive theatre on Monday to highlighting the indifferent attitude and injustice towards women in homes, police stations and hospitals.
It was the second interactive theatre of Aitebaar (NGO) in the city, which was written, performed and directed by students at wedding hall. A large number of audience, mostly students, witnessed the theatre. They gave feedback through active participation on the stage.
The main theme of the play revolved around gender-based violence where a husband beats his wife for her infertility who then passes through different stages at hospitals, police stations and courts.
