HARIPUR: At least 32 suspected patients of coronavirus had been tested negative in the district, Health Department officials said on Friday.
Dr Sher Bahadur, in-charge Rapid Response Team of Health Department, said that the health department had collected the swab of a total of 71 corona suspects from Khalabat Township, Ding, Rehana, Kahal, Mirpur and Khanpur area and sent them to the National Institute of Health for analysis. He said that 32 suspects had been tested negative for the virus, while four tested positive and the results of rest of them were awaited.
He disclosed that all the Covid-19 positive patients were recovering fast and were in stable condition. Dr Sher Bahadur said that on the recommendation of Health Department, the administration had quarantined 65 Tableeghi Jamaat’s members in the markaz. He said that they were screened by the Rapid Response Team and the swabs of five of them were collected and sent to NIH. “Three Tableeghi Jamaat members were also found negative for coronavirus,” he added.
