DASKA: A youth committed suicide in the City police area on Sunday.
Irfan, a resident of Sambrial Road, ended his life by jumping into the BRB Canal. The motive behind the incident is said to be financial problems.
BOOTLEGGER HELD WITH LIQUOR: Sadar police on Sunday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 40 litres liquor from him.
On a tip-off, the police raided and arrested accused Nawaz with liquor bottles.
YOUTH ABDUCTED: A youth was abducted from Motra police area on Sunday.
Tahir Mehmood was on his way when four accused including Riaz, Qadir and Shakil allegedly abducted him.
VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: Two dacoity incidents were reported here on Sunday.
