HAFIZABAD: A four-year-old child was killed after falling into an open drain at Mohallah Mian Da Kot on Sunday. Mukarram went out of his house and suddenly fell into the open drain. As a result, he died. His body was recovered after two hours. Meanwhile, a large number of people staged a demonstration against the TMA by placing the child’s body on a road. They chanted slogans against the TMA. They said that the TMA removed covers of a drain during its cleanliness some days ago. They said that the TMA staffers did not place covers on the drain after completing the work.
