Special relief package for Chitral demanded

CHITRAL: Terming the Rs3,000 relief package in the prevailing coronavirus pandemic a peanut, senior lawyers associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday asked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government to provide at least Rs20,000 to each poor family affected by the ongoing lockdown.

, Speaking at a press conference, Abdul Wali Khan, lawyers Muhammad Kausar, Sajidullah,

, Khurshid Hussain Mughal, Niaz A Niazi and others said that lawyer fraternity, traders, teachers of private schools, drivers and journalists were the worst affected people and they must be provided a reasonable package to cope with the situation.

They said that situation in Chitral was quite different from other parts of the country, therefore, the government should announce a special relief package for the people in this volatile region.­
