Corona teleconference in Mardan today
PESHAWAR: Leaders of major political and religious parties, representatives of social welfare organisations, youth parliament and Amn Jirga will discuss coronavirus situation at a teleconference in Mardan district today (Tuesday).Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Zahir Shah Toru told The News that the former senior minister Atif Khan had convened the teleconference, which would start at 2pm. The MNAs, MPAs and representatives of various organisations would discuss the coronavirus situation in the district. The participants would discuss the medical facilities, problems of the coronavirus affected people, complete lockdown, existing unrest among the people, how to protect citizens from the epidemic and government actions. The recommendations of the teleconference would be presented to the government.
