Islamabad : A team of Chinese health experts led by the Ambassador of China to Pakistan Luo Zhaohui visited the National Institute of Health here Sunday to share their experiences in the management and control of COVID-19 in China.
The Chinese team comprised an epidemiologist, ICU specialist, IPC specialist, medical specialist and outbreak control specialist. The Executive Director of NIH Aamer Ikram welcomed the delegate and briefed them about the situation of COVID-19 in Pakistan and major response activities. He said, all departments and divisions of NIH are coordinating the national response activities for COVID-19 and hoped that Pakistan would maximally utilize this opportunity to learn Chinese experiences. against COVID-19. “Once again, China has shown to the world that they are friends of Pakistan and are available to collaborate and coordinate in every difficult situation,” he added.
