Karachi: The Cantonment Board Clifton started spraying a disinfectant in all its commercial and residential areas as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus.
CBC fire brigades vehicles and tankers are used in the campaign to disperse the germs if any. They sprayed specially in commercial areas hospitals etc CBC health officer Shabbir akhter said, “We are spraying in the whole area of cbc and during the spray they also providing guideline to the people to wash their hands, keep distance, avoid hug, avoid unnecessary visit to family,friends and markets.He said that the disinfectant spray was carried out on special directives from the CBC executive officer Rana Kashif shahzad.It will continue daily without breaks.
Cbc spokesperson said all CBC offices are open, but public dealing is closed due to precautionary measures and administration has also decided to grant 15 days leave to its employees over the age of 50 to keep them safe from COVID-19.
