ISLAMABAD: Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz has stepped forward to help Pakistan in the hour of need.
Talking to daily Jang on Saturday, he announced that he will work together with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in the fight against rapidly-spreading coronavirus. He announced cleansing the Bara Kahu area of Islamabad where the coronavirus has deepened its roots. He said the Bahria Town will start spraying disinfectant spray around the area. He claimed that the entire area will be cleared of any bacteria and virus by two days.
He said the cleansing work in Bara Kahu will start today as he is standing by NDMA Chairman Lf Gen Muhammad Afzal in his efforts against coronavirus. He said: “We will use the material and vehicles used by China in its battle against coronavirus. He said the Bahria Town has planned to clear whole of Islamabad and make it a virus-free city. The Bahria Town will also increase the number of its Dastar Khwans.
